    Member Commitment
As a member of the Alberta Society for Injured Birds of Prey (the “Society”), I agree to support and uphold the Society’s mission, values, and commitment to the welfare of birds of prey. I understand that participation in Society events, activities, or volunteer opportunities may involve interaction with wildlife and related environments, which can pose certain risks.
In consideration of being granted membership and/or participation in Society activities, I hereby:
    • Release and hold harmless the Alberta Society for Injured Birds of Prey, its directors, officers, members, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur in connection with my involvement in Society activities, except where due to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
    • Acknowledge that participation is at my own risk and that I am responsible for following all safety instructions and animal welfare protocols provided by the Society.
