How does It Work?
Depending on availability birds may be sponsored for release back to the wild. Sometimes we can release a bird back to the location they were found sometimes that is not an option. Funds collected go directly to support the work we do at the shelter rehabilitating injured birds.
Once a bird is deemed fit for release we need to release them as soon as possible. Some birds are migratory and we need to make sure they are released in time to make the migration or sometimes we arrange transport so they can catch up. If possible we like to release birds were they were found but sometimes that is not possible.

Over the years we have released many Eagles in conjunction with First Nations for Various Events:Ralph Klein's honorary induction in to the Kianai Chieftanship, Kehewin Treaty Days etc.
